If you cannot find all the answers to your questions below, please contact us. We will happily provide you with more information about Diamond Ballroom Dance Camp 2017.

Q: When is the Diamond Ballroom Dance Camp?

A: The dance camp will be held on 9-13 August 2017. You can attend all five days or just the days you are available.

Q: How can I make sure I get all the latest information about the camp?

A: Sign up for our newsletter. This is sent out no more frequently than once per month, so we won't clog your inbox. We will also post updates to Facebook!

Q: How do we register as a couple if each of us has a scholarship/prize certificate?

A: If you have a scholarship/prize certificate for each person, you will have to do the registration process twice: once for each person of the couple. (The system only accepts one scholarship/prize code when checking out.) To use a scholarship/prize, put the scholarship/prize number in the "coupon code" box when you are viewing your cart prior to checking out.

If you have any more questions, let us know!

Q: What level dancers will benefit from attending Diamond Ballroom Dance Camp?

A: Diamond Ballroom Dance Camp is structured to offer something to beginner, advanced, and professional dancers.

Q: Can I take a private lesson with one of the instructors?

A: Yes! You will have a chance to schedule a private lesson at the registration desk on any day of the camp or in advance. Lesson price varies by instructor.

Q: How much do private lessons cost for each instructor?

A: You can see the individual prices for private lessons in the private lessons section of the store. If you add a private lesson to your cart, you will see the final price in your cart.

Q: What dances and styles will be taught at the camp?

A: Diamond Ballroom Dance Camp offers workshops in International Latin and Standard, and American Rhythm and Smooth. Please refer to the tentative schedule for more details.

Q: What is the closest airport to Framingham, MA?

A: Boston Logan Airport.

Q: Is the hotel included with camp registration?

A: Optionally, Yes.

This year, we have three registration types, two of which include the hotel. Double Occupancy Registration includes a hotel room shared by two camp participants; Single Occupancy Registration includes a hotel room for an individual camp participant; No Hotel Registration does not include the hotel.

Five nights (Wednesday through Sunday) are included with the Single and Double Occupancy Registration options. (Note that the dinner, social dance, and professional showcases will be on Sunday evening.) If you are registering for fewer than 5 days, or if you would like to stay an extra night at the hotel, (e.g., Tuesday night before the camp,) the cost is an additional $148 per night including taxes ($129 per night plus tax.) Contact us if you are interested in additional hotel nights.

Q: May I record video during the lessons?

A: You are welcome to purchase a camera pass on the registration page. Only devices with a camera pass will be allowed to record. This policy includes phones.

Q: Can you find me a partner or roommate for the camp?

Unfortunately, we are not able to find you a roommate or dance partner. However, no partner is required and we do have a single-occupancy hotel option. If you want to take advantage of multiple-occupancy prices, you must have your roommate(s) sign up at the time of your registration.

Q: What should I wear to the camp?

A: For the workshops, we suggest that you wear comfortable practice clothes that allow for easy movement. We also recommend bringing dance shoes that you can dance in for several hours per day. If you would consider performing at the social dance what you have learned in the routine clases, please bring a black outfit to wear for the performance. For the social dance, please wear semi-casual clothing to your liking; avoid jeans and t-shirts.

Q: How do I redeem a scholarship?

A: Add your camp registration to your cart, then view your cart. Underneath the items in your cart, there is an option to "use coupon code". Add your scholarship number to this box and click "Apply Coupon". Your total will be reduced by the amount of your scholarship.

If you are registering with a partner and you both have scholarship vouchers, you will have to place a separate order for each registration.

Q: Can scholarships be combined?

A: No. Only one scholarship certificate may be used per person per year.

Q: Do I need to bring my own yoga mat for the yoga classes?

A: If you have your own mat, please bring it. If you do not have your own mat, you can borrow one at the camp.

Q: What should I wear to Zumba?

A: Come dressed in comfortable fitness attire that is easy to move in. Wear shoes that support dance movement; for example, cross trainers, dance sneakers, or even running shoes with worn-out tread. Do not wear dance heels.
